Website

A website is a collection of related files supported by the World Wide Web. Websites consist of, but are not limited to, HTML files, ASP files, PHP files, graphic files, and others. To view a website, it is required to have a www browser. The two most popular browsers today are Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, Opera and Mozilla. There are a variety of types of web sites. Many people have personal sites (such as this website) which give information about them, sometimes including resumes for potential employers. Most businesses have web sites on the WWW in which they can promote their products or services. Also stores can have online shopping carts to sell products on their site. No matter what the intent, using websites is a good way to promote oneself or one's business.
