Pitch
Pitch is a measure of how high or low a note is, relative to the tone of other notes. The Pitch of a note is determined by the frequency of vibrations per second of the sound-producing agent. For Example, the note A in concert pitch is 440 Hz.Click Here to Return to the main Music Glossary page
