Accordion
An accordion is a portable keyboard or button based instrument. It is usually a box-shaped instrument with metal reeds made to vibrate by squeezing air from bellows. To make a sound, the bellows are played back and forwards by the player's hands. The notes are chosen through the action of the player's fingers on the buttons or the regular keyboard layout.Click Here to Return to the main Music Glossary page
