The space shuttle has just flown over Ireland. I managed to get some shots on video and an 8 second timed exposure on film also. Have a look at the video of the shuttle flying over Waterford at 23:20pm on July 15th 2009 – only minutes after being launched from Florida.

Have a look at the still image (8 second exposure) below, not sure why there were 2 lights !! Apparently this is one of the few times this has happened and it was amazing to see – the shuttle went very brightly and quietly from SSW to ENE – the whole event was finished in about 20 seconds. Absolutely Amazing.
