New World Chinese Restaurant, Puerto del Carmen, one of the best restaurants in the area

I was recently in Lanzarote and visited the New World Chinese Restaurant. The restaurant is located opposite the Los Fariones Shops in Puerto del Carmen. We were staying at the Los Fariones hotel so this restaurant was not only convenient but also became a regular haunt for us during our stay, If you are going to be in the area, take a look at this review of this great Chinese Restaurant Puerto del Carmen.

The staff were very welcoming and the interior has excellent decor with Chinese paintings and sculptures adding to the atmosphere.

There are a wide range of starters including the usual favourites but I went for their Dim Sum which is excellent (#4 to be exact) followed by fish in mushroom and bamboo for the main course (only €5.95 for the main). Everything was perfect and we stayed quite a while to savour over the fantastic meal.

I have eaten here twice in the past 2 years and each time I come away happy. The food here at the New World is excellent matched also by the service.

Conclusion, New World Chinese Restaurant, Puerto del Carmen

For 2 starters, 2 delicious mains and 2 soft drinks it all came in at under €30. If only you could get the same value in Ireland! I think back home it would be about €42 to €45.

Of all the restaurants we visited during our holiday, I can certainly say the New World Chinese Restaurant was one of the best restaurants in Puerto del Carmen Lanzarote.

If you are in the area, The New World Chinese Restaurant, Puerto del Carmen, is a ‘must visit’ restaurant!

Lanzarote as a Destination

Lanzarote has a lot to offer and is actually my favourite of the Canary islands. It is the northernmost and easternmost of the Canary Islands. It is located approximately 125km from the north coast of Africa. Lanzarote is the 4th largest of the islands and the most enjoyable part of Lanzarote for me was  Timanfaya National Park and the César Manrique tour (which you can organise from your hotel).  The Los Fariones Hotel is an amazing place to stay if you are looking for a piece of luxury on this island getaway.
