Lazing on a Sunday Afternnon Lyrics

I go out to work on Monday morning
Tuesday, I go off to honeymoon
I’ll be back again before it’s time for sunny-down
I’ll be lazing on a Sunday afternoon

Bicycling on every Wednesday evening
Thursday, I go waltzing to the zoo
I come from London town
I’m just an ordinary guy
Fridays, I go painting in the Louvre

I’m bound to be proposing on a Saturday night
(There he goes again)
I’ll be lazing on a Sunday
Lazing on a Sunday
Lazing on a Sunday afternoon

(instrumental)

Tips on playing Lazing on a Sunday Afternoon Chords

The intro is a bit tricky and some website have a Bb listed as the last chord in the intro but if you try that , it’s a nightmare, so use the Gm chord. It should be played at a wrist and slightly staccato tempo and playing style as per the album version. Also, take a listen to the few times it was played live by Queen, to see what they did with the song when played live. Its a really fun song to play and it’s interesting also with the guitar solo going from the initial key to the key the guitar solo is played in.
