Flash – Song Information
Flash Gordon was the very first movie soundtrack which Queen were asked to create. After a few months, the director of the movie heard some of the music and actally said “This will not work for my movie”, however it was the poroducer of the movie who convinced the director to stick with Queen ; and the rest as they say is history. Flash’s Theme is after becoming a kind of cultural norm, in that, if you sung the words Flas to an audience, the chances are the audience would sing back ‘aaaaa-ahhhhh’. Flash’s Theme has also been used on advertising in the UK, Europe and beyond.
