Fastidious and Precise!

When you see Celebrating Queen, you will not only experience an amazing stage show but you will be smacked in the ears with a wall of sound, featuring the finest studio take quality recreations of their hits and deep album cuts. That wall of sound is constructed with the finest vocals featuring JJ and CJ Midnight and a rock band including lead guitarist Chris Gordon, bassists Greg Benton & Denes Luko, Drummers Santiago Luna and Zoltan Luko, and myself on keyboards / musical direction coming at you with a full head of steam!

Xtreme Queen – Queen Tribute Band from the USA

The Xtreme Queen Tribute band promise you a high-energy Queen experience. Xtreme Queen tribute are based in New York and they are seasoned musicians and talented singers. The experience is like a real Queen show with their front-man, S Thomas, as Freddie Mercury, he replicates all the signature moves, charisma, and energy of Freddie Mercury himself. The band thrill and excite the audience with the best guitar solos, amazing Queen riffs and the best music Queen has to offer. They even do the full 22 minutes of the Queen Live Aid set from July 1985.

Some of the songs which the band perform include We are the Champions, Radio Ga Ga, Bohemian Rhapsody, and many others.

The website link is below and is has been updated recently too – so ifyou have not seen the new site please check it out. The previous site was  hosted within the main site of the company who provides the tribute acts but they now have a brand new domain name for the Queen Tribute. There is a video of the band performing but in the first video you cannot hear them as the background is all ‘actual’ Queen studio based tracks, but if you scroll down you can see the band actually performing in the second video. There is also a photo gallery, extended of course, showing the band in all their glory. The Band section outlines the members of the band and there is some text detailing the band itself. They say that they are the only band to perform Live Aid as part of their set but I actually know of another band who does this but that’s just an aside. One the website you can also buy tickets to their shows – however at the time of this review, the shows were all 2021 and had been already performed. There is also a News section but because this is the brand new Xtreme Queen site, there isn’t too much there yet.

Bohemian Queen – US Based Queen Tribute Band

Bohemian Queen USA is a Queen tribute band from the USA featuring lead vocalist Paulie Zablidowsky as the amazing Freddie Mercury. The rest of the band is made up of musicians at the top of their game. On Drums/vocals there is Glenn Jost, on keys Victor Bender, on Guitar Steve Zukowsky and on bass/vocals Aaron Samson.

The Bohemian Queen Set List includes all the hits including Tie Your Mother Down, Don’t Stop Me Now, Keep Yourself Alive, Bohemian Rhapsody and We Are the Champions, as well as some songs other bands don’t do such as Keep yourself Alive and Stone Cold Crazy.

Their website, see the link below, has a teaser video which gives you a feel for wqhat the band are all about. Interesting to see the Freddie costume with the pleated wings showing up at the start of the vide – cool addition.  There are also a few (what look like) ‘lockdown-videos’, where the band are in different locations but recorded some Queen tracks at the same time … we all had to do that in 2020/2021! Those are worth taking a look at also as you get to see Bohemian Queen performing some key Queen tracks like The Show Must go on and Keep Yourself Alive. The website also hosts some photos of the band and also the set list which is indicative of you can expect when you see them perform. At the end of the page you can see a very nice thank you to this site, as I was proud to be the fiest site to link to Bohemian Queen’s website. (NOTE: their website seems to be consistently changing so please do bookmark it and return regularly for their updates and don’t forget to follow them on social media)

Baroness, A Queen Tribute – US Based Queen Tribute Band

Baroness, A Queen Tribute is a US Based Queen Tribute Band celebrating everything Queen. They deliver the full Queen experience live and a portion of each of their shows is donated to the Mercury Phoenix Trust. 

Update October 2021 : The latest check on the website for Baroness, but the website was not active. I checked back in October 2021 and still the Baroness Queen Tribute website was still down, pointing to a Wix 404 error page. If you know anything about the Baroness Tribute website and even if the Baroness band is still performing, then please do let me know. I even checked the Baroness YouTube page and Instagram accounts to see if perhaps they had updated the addresses there but to no avail sadly.
