MayQueen – German Queen Tribute Band

MayQueen is a German Queen Tribute Band who features highlights of the best of Queen’s Hits. The website is in German so you may need to use Google Translate if like me, your German is not that good. The website is very clean and well designed, although not really a website , rather a one pager which has everyting on the one web page, so if you just keep scrolling, you will get to see everything.

It includes a photo gallery with some very high quality images of the band and also a selection of videos. The website also has details of the MayQueen Tribute band / musicians as well as tour dates. 

There is a link to their Facebook page on the website which brings you to their social media channel. On there you can view their 17 videos (at time of writing this) which highlight their stage show. Unfortunately, the social media has not been updated since April 2020, which is understandable in the current climate, however it remains a nice channel for keeping up to date with the band.

The World of Queen by CoverQueen – French Queen Tribute Band

Fred Caramia is a proficient musician who has studied music since the age of 6. In 2006 Fred created the Queen Tribute Band ‘CoverQueen’ with his brother Alexandre, to pay tribute to the band Queen and his singer Freddie Mercury. Other musicians in the band include Alexandre Caramia on drums, Adrien Husson on guitar, Morgan Michaud on bass and Raphael Donadieu.

This Queen Tribute act promoses a powerful sound, great lighting, some use of pyrotechnics plus video screens with images of Queen and Freddie Mercury. The whole show is created and dedicated to the memory of Queen and Freddie Mercury.

The Caramia Brothers in creating the World of Queen and CoverQueen show have worked together to pay homage to Queen and Freddie Mercury. In this show they try to do this without copying the original group and while keeping their own unique identity.

With this amazing stage show and Queen Tribute, through visual effects and very talented musicians, The World Of Queen by CoverQueen has all the things you need so that you can enjoy a Queen Tribute at it’s best.

The World of Queen (by CoverQueen) has a basic website, see link below. On that site you can find tour dates, information about the musicians, contact information, links to their online store, some media and you can subscribe to the CoverQueen/World of Queen newsletter. In the media section of their website you can find 12 great videos , worth checking out. The Tour Dates section seems to be well updated, as the band have gigs only a few days from now (October 8th 2021 – at time or writing this). There are links to the bands Facebook and YouTube accounts at the bottom right of the website.

The Queen Forever Tribute Band is a powerful recreation of the legendary British rock-formation ‘Queen’, looking, dressing and sounding like Queen. The Queen Forever band performs all their music 100% live and include all the Greatest Hits of Queen. The two-hour set includes epic Queen-anthems such as ‘Innuendo’, ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ and ‘Barcelona’.

you should check out the Queen Forever website as it is very well designed and tells you a lot about the tribute act. The homepage has a ver well delivered video intro, plus as you scroll you can see the up-coming tours and shows. There are videos and photos on the website which you can enjoy, allowing you to get a feel for the sights and sounds of Queen Forever. The photos are really high quality, and one of those (top row , middle) looks really like the Queen lighting rig and stage setup – amazing shot. The section on the band is very interesting, plus, you should check out the references which Queen Forever have obtained from press etc. There are also links to the bands social media, namely Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube – so perhaps you can give them a follow on those platforms also.

Crazy Little Things performs all of the hits of Queen, the best rock band of all time. Hits such as Killer Queen, Somebody To Love, The Show Must Go on, I Want it All and I Want To Break Free are performed. The Band also do some of the deep cuts from Queen’s repertoire also.

The seven members of the band are diehard Queen fans and you can hear that in their powerful sound. The bombastic sound, the eye for details and the ingenious choral work wrapped in a spectacular live show. With a deep bow to Queen, ‘Crazy Little Things’ honours their heroes, Queen.

Queenie – Czech based Queen Tribute Band

Queenie – Czech Republic Queen Tribute Band

Queenie is the most successful Queen tribute band in the Czech Republic and one of the best Queen tribute bands worldwide. They have reproduced a very precise live rendition of the Queen stage and setlist. I have seen their full concert YouTube video and it is very good indeed. This Queen Tribute Band has had over 1,000 performances and also took part in the Freddie Mercury’s Memorial Day in Montreux.

I was very impressed with the set and their video and website links are below. They recreated all the hit songs in the style of Queen, starting with One Vision and Tie Your Mother Down. They also play a few unusual ones for Tribute Bands to do, such as You Take My Breath Away, Let me Live and Barcelona.

Hopefully, if I am every back in the Czech Republic, a place where I worked for a while in 2001/2002, I would love to go see this Czech Queen Tribute Band.

Flash Harry is a Queen Tribute Band from Northern Ireland. Starting back in 1992 the band has gone from strength to strength, performing all the greatest hits of Queen in Ireland, Uk and sometimes further afield. I’ve seen Flash Harry in Waterford back in 2008 and more recently in the Academy in Dublin. A great setlist and great performance is ‘guaranteed to blow your mind’.

This amazing Queen Tribute Band is made up of 5 musicians; Harry Hamilton (Vocals) and John (Click) Cleland (Bass), Stevie Shanks (Drums),  Stevie Prosser (Keys),  Stevie Boyd (lead guitar).

The Dutch Queen Tribute Band is a wonderful tribute to Queen from Holland. The Dutch Queen Tribute band continually seek out the boundaries and have filled stadiums. The band not only plays the Greatest Hits of Queen but also the lesser-known​ songs which Queen fans love. The website is very nicely designed however the site is more a one pager rather than a full website. However, you can find a photo gallery, links to upcoming shows, there is one video and links to the bands social media channels. The video on the site is very well shot and it covers a number of songs covered by this Dutch Queen Tribute.

Supreme Queen is a UK Queen Tribute Band who were formed in the early 90s. The Supreme Queen Tribute act aims​ to recreate the real Queen live experience a real tribute to Queen with all the authenticity and uniqueness of what epitomises​ the Queen Legacy. The Supreme Queen website contains information on tour dates as well as videos and contact details. It also has information about the band and links to their Facebook and Twitter accounts.  The reviews on the website are very complimentary and I have included one snippet of one of the testimonials of the band below.

I know Freddie can never be replaced ever…but as a next best live thing and feel, these boys pulled it off pretty well. If you expected to see Mr Mercury himself, it will never happen. So once again, I emphasise that this band and sound is probably the next best sound that will bring you closest to that Queen feel and sound and movement.

Queen Real Tribute is a US Queen Tribute Band. It is not your usual tribute act as it comprises of an orchestra and a choir. It combines classical music, rock and choral singing.

The website is really excellent and you get a sense of what this band is all about. There is information about the Queen Tribute Symphony, which has an orchestra and a choir and aim to interpret the music of Queen in a new and classical way. On the website you can also find information about the bands upcoming tribute shows as well as the latest News from the band.  The website also has a very good Gallery which has both photos and videos, and within the video section I even saw one with Peter Freestone (personal assistant to Freddie Mercury), so lots to enjoy in that section of the website. Finally, an about us and press section is there if you want to delve even further into the band’s background and past performances.

Queen Nation – US based Queen Tribute Band.

Queen Nation is a USA based Queen Tribute Band. They perform an amazing 90-minute spectacular of Queen’s greatest hits. Audiences are stunned at how at the accurately Queen Nation reproduce the sound of Queen. I actually watched a full concert of theirs on YouTube and it is truly excellent. I found myself plugging in the piano and playing along with them. I have included a Queen Nation YouTube clip below so that you get a fee for what this Tribute Band are all about. There are even more videos available on the website and also on their YouTube channel.

The Queen Nation Tribute Band website has a lot of information about the band, all of which are talented musicians. There is a background area telling you about the band members, the set list and also a blog area. There is a media section which allows you to play some excellent audio clips, see photos and watch demo videos of the band in action and you can also purchase QN Tribute band merchandise from the website store.

Update October 2021 – As of  October 2021 when this Queen Tribute Band profile page was being updated. When I clicked the website link I found that the Queen Legend Tribute Band website was no longer online and it just redirected to a 404 page for the Wix website development platform.

It’s a Kinda Magic is an Australian Queen Tribute Band who recreate Queen’s 1986 world tour, as close as you will get to Queen. Apparently their concerts are amazing and I have included a testimonial below from a person who saw one of their tribute shows.

You can check out videos of the band, photos of previous concerts and also read some of the news from the band. MerQury Legacy is an Italian Queen Tribute Band who have been performing the music of Queen since 2001. They have played some excellent events including the Montreux Freddie Mercury Memorial Night & Memorial Day. The latest band tour dates include locations in Italy and Switzerland. 

The band have a website in Italian where you can find more information, however the website seems to be stuck in 2011 as the design and layout is a little dated. In saying that, the information on the website includes information on the band, phone numbers if you are interested in booking this Queen Tribute,  There is also information on the website

Killer Queen – UK Queen Tribute Band

Killer Queen is a UK Queen Tribute Band, based in London. Killer Queen, not to be confused with some German and Italian bands of the same name, are the only tribute to have sold out the same arenas as Queen. The Killer Queen Tribute band are also the longest established tribute to Queen.

The Killer Queen website has some great information on the band. There is a gallery with really great concert shots of the band in action. The video gallery has a 7 minute video promoting the band. There have been some great reviews of the band in the press, including reviews from The Daily Mail, BBC and The People newspaper. If you want to catch Killer Queen on their Tours, the Tickets section allows you to find out where the band are playing close to you. Finally on the website there is a news section, contact section and links to the bands social media channels on the bottom of the site.
