Queen May Rock is a German Queen Tribute full of energy, fantastic music, and the very best Queen entertainment, The Queen May Rock band guarantees a concert at the highest level.

The five professional musicians of Queen May Rock don’t do the whole “look-a-like” Queen performance, instead they concentrate on the music. Performing the hits like “Bohemian Rhapsody” completely live. This is a show the like of which you probably haven’t seen before. The band is made up of Michael Antony Austin on lead vocals, Markus Hoppmann on guitar, Florian Kremer on piano/keyboards & vocals, Horst Zaunegger on bass & vocals and Marco M. Molitor on drums /percussion & vocals. The band also has a very special guest in Helga Wachter who is a soprano. The combination of these wonderful musicians brings a complete energy to the performance.

Queen May Rock have been performing in front of thrilled Queen fans at open-air festivals and venues around Germany and Europe itself. Some of their key performances have been in Hamburg, Berlin and Munich. The band even have their own technical crew, sound engineers and lighting tech in order to ensure an amazing performance with the very best sound guaranteed.

Q-Revival – German Queen Tribute Band

The Queen Revival Band are a German-based Queen Tribute Band, comprising of highly experienced musicians. They first performed in 1993 and now they produce a spectacular live show dedicated to the phenomenon of Queen and Freddie Mercury. Q – Revival Tribute Band plays the best Queen tracks from their vast back catalogue, in a real rock show. The stage is just like Queen, the band look like Queen, they are the Q-Revival Queen Tribute Band.

The Q-Revival website ha a lot content including details regarding the band, a large selection of Tour Dates spanning into next year and also media such as photos and sound clips .(The only thing about the sound clips is that my browser doesn’t display Flash so if you click the Media tab looking for their videos, it may not load and will have to play around with your browser settings). There is also a Guestbook which people can sign if they have been to one of their concerts. The site does look a bit dated, looking like the types of site we all had around 2010 before HTML5 made sites so much more dynamic and presentable, however the content of the site is all you need to enjoy what this Queen Tribute have to offer.

The Q-Revival Bands Set List includes all the classic Queen songs but they also include a number of Deep Cuts from the Queen Back Catalogue. These include I was Born to Love You, Mustapha and Headlong (a song Queen never performed with Freddie).

The band was really personable and for a moment I actually thought I was going to see the real Queen band perform! Harry’s voice is incredibly close to Freddie’s and especially the guitarist was amazing!

MayQueen – German Queen Tribute Band

MayQueen is a German Queen Tribute Band who features highlights of the best of Queen’s Hits. The website is in German so you may need to use Google Translate if like me, your German is not that good. The website is very clean and well designed, although not really a website , rather a one pager which has everyting on the one web page, so if you just keep scrolling, you will get to see everything.

It includes a photo gallery with some very high quality images of the band and also a selection of videos. The website also has details of the MayQueen Tribute band / musicians as well as tour dates.

There is a link to their Facebook page on the website which brings you to their social media channel. On there you can view their 17 videos (at time of writing this) which highlight their stage show. Unfortunately, the social media has not been updated since April 2020, which is understandable in the current climate, however it remains a nice channel for keeping up to date with the band.
