The Spread Your Wings intro starts with a Dsus4 when is then resolved back to the D
Freddie plays a bass note of 2 D notes on the octave, very similar to You’re My Best Friend in it’s pattern.
The chords then alternate between (listen to the intro to get the timings)

Next there is a run of notes (D bass) Notes are D(high) A G F# F# G A F# G F# E F# D

Then Freddie plays one D note repeatedly D D D D D D D D D D D D before starting the D^ D A D D^ D A D D^ D A D intro for Spread Your Wings (I use the ^ symbol to indicate the higher D note)
