There are a lot of internet rumours at the moment that Queen are working on some tracks which were laid down in the early 80’s. These tracks feature Freddie Mercury and Michael Jackson who at the time were good friends.

New tracks from Michael Jackson and Freddie Mercury

Apparently Queen drummer Roger Taylor, has said that it was Michael who suggested they release “Another one Bites the Dust” as a single which became Queens biggest hit in the U.S.A.

Freddie and Michael laid down 3 tracks called “Victory”, “State of Shock” (later released with Mick Jagger) and “There must Be More to Life than This” (later released on Freddie’s solo album Mr. Bad Guy). These demos were never finished.

The rumour mill has pointed to an interview with a Belgian magazine where Roger Taylor said, “We are now working on some never-before-released songs that Freddy made with Michael in the early 80’s. I’m not allowed to say too much about it but they sound incredible!”.
