This has to be one of the corniest jokes out there. I originally hear this on Marty Whelan’s Lyric FM show. I think it is probably the only joke about fishcakes that I know of, anyway, take a look below and see what you think !
Fish Cakes – Joke
A man walks into a fish shop with a fish under his arm and says “Do you have fish cakes?”.
The fishmonger says, sorry, we have no fish cakes today!
The man says, thats a pity, …. its his birthday today !

Variation on this fishcake joke
A man walks into the bakery with a mackerel under his arm. He asks the woman behind the counter “Excuse me, do you serve fish cakes?”
The woman replies, “Of course we don’t!”
The man points to the fish and shouts – “Well what the hell am I supposed to do?! It’s his birthday!”
