Where is Arricife Airport?
César Manrique-Lanzarote Airport or Aeropuerto de César Manrique-Lanzarote as it is known locally is the main Lanzarote Airport, a part of the Canary Islands. It is also known simply as Arrecife Airport. Arrecife airport in Lanzarote is located in San Bartolomé, Las Palmas, which is just over 5 kilometres from the island’s capital, Arrecife, thus the name.
Lanzarote Airport has flights to and from many European airports and in 2019 there were over 7,500,000 passengers which passed through the airport.
Arricife Airport Transfers
There was one visit to Lanzarote where our Travel Agent let us down badly. So if you are Looking for Arricife Airport Transfers in Lanzarote, in one of my posts regarding Lanzarote I used an excellent transfer service from a company called ‘Canal Travel‘ (or as they are now called ‘Canal Transfers’) from Arricife Airport. I was in no way paid to mention them but I got such great service from them I decided to share a good review via the blog. A very reliable service provided Canal Travel and the owner Rafael was excellent in helping us on our arrival as our travel agent in Waterford had let us down by not booking transfers for us.
On departure they were right on time (they were actually there in advance) at our hotel and took our bags from the lobby which helped make departure from the hotel that bit easier. I was well impressed and certainly recommend them. Canal Travel Transfers Website: www.canaltransfers.com
Lanzarote as a Destination
Lanzarote has a lot to offer and is actually my favourite of the Canary islands. It is the northernmost and easternmost of the Canary Islands. It is located approximately 125km from the north coast of Africa. Lanzarote is the 4th largest of the islands and the most enjoyable part of Lanzarote for me was Timanfaya National Park and the César Manrique tour (which you can organise from your hotel).
